• First Name and Last Name

• Electorate (NZ participants)

• Country of Residence (overseas participants)

• Optional: City/Town, Email Address, Year of Birth (month/year only)

We collect this data to:

• Verify unique participation in the People’s Referendum.

• Analyse geographic and demographic trends.

• Provide aggregated, anonymised statistics to the public.

  Your personal details will never be published individually without consent.

Data is stored on secure NZ-based or privacy-compliant cloud servers protected by encryption and limited-access credentials.

You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted.

Data will be retained only as long as necessary for verification and reporting—no longer than 24 months after the close of the campaign—after which all personally identifiable data will be deleted.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties except where required by law or where explicitly authorised by you.
